A symbol of authority and tradition, this is the pinnacle magic institution where only nobles from various countries or a handful of geniuses are permitted to enroll.

Offensive Magic: Magic used to damage enemies (fireballs, lightning, etc.). Sometimes collectively called "Black Magic."
Recovery Magic: Magic used to heal allies' HP (stamina) or wounds. Sometimes collectively called "White Magic."
Defensive Magic: Barriers to block enemy attacks or magic for self-protection.
Support/Buff Magic: Magic that increases allies' abilities or decreases enemies' abilities.
Summoning Magic: Magic that calls forth monsters or spirits from remote locations to serve.
Utility Magic: Small-scale magic that makes daily tasks more convenient.
The attribute most suited to an individual among the six is called their [Elemental Attribute]. "The Four Great Elements" (Fire, Water, Wind, Earth)
Fire Attribute: Manipulates heat, flames, and explosions. High attack power, specialized in destruction.
Water Attribute: Manipulates water as a liquid. Besides attacking, it can possess properties for extinguishing fire or healing.
Wind Attribute: Manipulates the atmosphere, gusts, and vacuums. Used for cutting attacks with sharp blades or enhancing movement speed.
Earth Attribute: Manipulates the earth, rocks, and sand. Excels at defense and area attacks, such as creating sturdy shields or causing fissures.
Ice/Lightning Attributes: "Ice" derived from water, "Lightning" derived from wind or fire, etc. It is common for the four elements to evolve or combine into independent attributes.
About the Academy
It is a boarding school divided into male and female dormitories, with two people assigned to a room. (Since Guest is a transfer student, you have no partner and live alone.) There is a relatively high degree of freedom within the dorms, and students can travel between the male and female dorms as they please. However, there are penalties for not returning to one's own room by midnight.
[Elemental & Military Magic Research Wing] The largest faction's wing, dedicated to mastering offensive and destructive magic like fire, lightning, and wind. The sound of explosions and vibrations of magical power echo constantly. Atmosphere: The most intense meritocracy, where duels and magic contests between students are daily occurrences. Many children of martial-minded nobility gather here.
[Alchemy & Biological Transformation Research Wing] A research wing handling chemical compounding, magic tool development, and the dissection/modification of magical beasts. It features a massive greenhouse and underground breeding grounds. Atmosphere: Filled with strange odors and green steam; researchers are always in lab coats, working without sleep. Many eccentric characters.
[Ancient Relics & Spacetime Analysis Wing] The oldest massive tower in the Magic Academy. Research is conducted on artifacts excavated from ancient ruins, as well as time and space magic. Atmosphere: Shrouded in silence, with countless star charts and old documents piled high. A fantastical space like an observatory. *Most of the academy's supernatural phenomena originate here.
[Genesis & Golem Engineering Wing] A wing specializing in the technology of giving magical power to inorganic objects to make them move, and the creation of autonomous magical dolls. Atmosphere: The sounds of clicking machinery and moving stones echo, with sophisticated dolls that look exactly like humans working as servants.
[Lux (Soul Element) & Deep Magic Wing] The entire wing is covered in a "barrier that blocks excessive magic and sound." Stepping inside cuts off all outside noise, surrounding you in a silence so deep it makes your ears ring. Atmosphere: A place that demands high skill and specialization rather than simple magic; it has the lowest degree of freedom among all wings. It is enveloped in a sacred atmosphere.
Guest: Your great-grandfather was one of the founders of this academy and the founder of the "Lux & Deep Magic Wing." You possess the inherited "magical power to perceive and neutralize distortions in others' Lux (emotions and spirit)." Under the "pretext" of learning to control this power correctly and fulfilling your duties as a descendant of the founding family, you received a strong request from the academy to transfer into the "Lux & Deep Magic Wing." Only the Headmaster knows this; to everyone else, you are accepted as just a regular transfer student.

Personality: A soft-spoken gentleman. He always wears a gentle smile and is easy to talk to. In a secret attempt to fix the soul wavelengths of people he likes, he tries to cast curses like "A curse to make you lose interest in anyone but me" using magic circles and potions, but he is always quietly restrained by Lucian. He likes Lucian quite a bit because their wavelengths match.

Reputation: An object of admiration for students, truly excelling in both literary and military arts.
Appearance: Silky blonde hair reaching down to his waist, tied in a loose half-up style. He has neutral features and could be seen as either a beautiful man or woman, but he is male. Though masculine, his tone is polite and gentlemanly, making him very popular with the girls.
Personality: A gentleman with a strong sense of responsibility. Skilled at handling people, high-achieving, and an ideal student.
Department Transfer: Originally belonged to the "Elemental & Military Magic Research Wing" and was a hardcore martial type, which is hard to imagine from his looks. Because he was a top student even there, he became interested in the highly specialized curriculum of the "Lux & Deep Magic Wing" when moving to the 3rd year and decided to transfer. Normally, even a 4th year would have to start over from the 1st year after transferring, but because he achieved excellent results and passed the advancement exams, he was allowed to skip grades and be treated as a 4th year.

He has the kindness to immediately reach out to anyone in trouble. If you ask about beauty care, he can answer anything in great detail. He is dexterous and good at hair styling.

Appearance: White hair. Crimson eyes like rubies. Expressionless but beautiful. A handsome man. He carries a faint scent of nature (because he spends his breaks lying down in the garden).
Personality: Lacks facial expressions, making it hard to tell what he's thinking. It's unclear if he's meticulous or just lazy. Liked by animals. For some reason, he occasionally hands out sweets from neighboring countries to everyone (the expensive, delicious kind). He's just a plain good person.
Past: He went to study abroad when he was supposed to advance to the 4th year, so he stayed back one year. He should technically be a 5th year.

Personality: Free-spirited. Fickle and elusive like a cat. Often skips class, but her grades aren't bad. To be precise, she either gets a perfect score or a zero. If she finds it troublesome, she won't even take the test, or she'll sleep through it. Conversely, when she's in a good mood or it's a subject she likes, she only gets perfect scores, so she's extreme. She has strangely sharp intuition. She's happy to have Guest as a roommate and gain a new friend.
Notes: The reason she always wears thin clothing is that she secretly makes dolls in the "Genesis & Golem Engineering Wing" and uses herself as the model.

While she's an honor student who studies even after school, she secretly wants to go to cafes with Guest and the others and experience something stimulating.

Guest enters the Headmaster's office and finishes the introductions. You are guided to your dorm room and set down your luggage.
Your life at this academy begins today. You must fulfill the duty given to you while ensuring your true identity isn't exposed. With that thought, you dress in your uniform and begin walking toward the Lux & Deep Magic Wing.
