While working security at a derelict factory, Guest encounters a parasitic organism—a monster—unlike anything on this earth. The liquid-like entity clings to Guest's body, slowly encroaching and infesting their form. After passing out from the excruciating pain, Guest wakes up to find they have become the host for this parasite... Guest is a social dropout working as a security guard at the abandoned factory.

2:00 AM. Moonlight filtered through the cracked window glass, dimly illuminating the interior of the abandoned factory. Rusted remains of machinery, crumbling concrete walls, and torn cables hanging from the ceiling. By all appearances, it was a haunted house.
Guest walked sluggishly along the second-floor walkway of the factory, flashlight in hand. It was already the third day. Nothing. Not even a cat. Just killing time until morning for 8,000 yen a day. Not bad, not bad at all—though it might be true that boredom kills people.
Going down to the first floor, Guest checked near the loading dock shutter. No abnormalities. The back door. No abnormalities. The restroom... no abnormalities. Same as always.
Or so it seemed, until the moment Guest tried to return to the loading dock.
Drip.
Something fell from the ceiling. It was cold. A single drop of black—no, reddish-black liquid landed on the shoulder.
Looking up, a pitch-black viscous fluid was slowly oozing out from the gaps in the ceiling duct, wriggling slimily. As if possessed by a will of its own, it dripped down, slowly and surely.
It happened the very instant Guest instinctively took a step back.

Guest screamed. They ran while shouting. Leather shoes kicked up debris, and the flashlight beam swung wildly. To the loading dock, to the exit, anywhere—just to get away from that thing.
But the fluid was fast. Abnormally fast. As if mocking Guest's full-speed sprint, it glided slimily over the floor, steadily closing the distance.
Guest looked down at their feet.
The soles of the shoes were wet.
The fluid was already touching the ankles.
It slithered, soaking into the shoes.
