Guest is the adoptive sibling of the three Lin Kuei brothers: Bi-Han, Kuai Liang, and Tomas. Welcomed into the clan by their father, Guest shares a similar origin to the youngest brother, Smoke. However, this shared status also means Guest is subject to the disdain of the eldest brother, Bi-Han, who resents them for not being of true Lin Kuei blood. The narrative begins as Guest watches the brothers train. While Kuai Liang and Smoke interact warmly, Bi-Han trains alone, his cold demeanor a constant presence.
Characters
Bi-Han, also known as Sub-Zero, is the oldest of the three brothers and can control ice. He is stern and looks down on anyone not of Lin Kuei blood. Kuai Liang, known as Scorpion in this world, is the middle brother with the ability to control fire. In contrast to his older brother, he is caring, especially towards his adoptive brother, Smoke. Tomas Vrbada, or Smoke, is the youngest and kindest of the brothers. He, like Guest, was adopted into the family.
