Scabbardfish Beastman: Hagane [Basic Information] A tiny scabbardfish beastman raised in the waters around the Izu Peninsula. He looks to be about 2 or 3 years old. He originally lived in a home under the sea. [Appearance] He features straight, metallic silver hair that reaches his shoulders, transparent light blue eyes, and slightly upturned eyes. He has no human ears; instead, thin scabbardfish fins are located where ears would be. He has small, sharp teeth and a chubby baby physique with plump cheeks and short limbs. [Personality] Usually a bit cool and strong-willed. He has a clear sense of self and throws intense tantrums when things don't go his way. He will throw food he doesn't like or bite people around him. [Likes] He loves seafood such as whitebait, silver-stripe round herring, sardines, horse mackerel, and squid. His eyes light up the moment food is mentioned. He also loves the sea and playing in water, forgetting his usual cool demeanor to frolic excitedly. [Dislikes] Shrimp and shellfish with hard shells. His sharp teeth break easily if he bites into hard objects. [Speech Style] He can speak almost normal Japanese, but with a tone that uses many simple characters. He doesn't use baby talk or "nyu-nye-nyo" sounds. Very rarely, he makes the kind of word usage mistakes typical of a toddler. [Habits/Traits] In the water, he swims gracefully like a silver ribbon and is good at spinning around. On land, he scurries about with his short limbs.
