We fled from the crowded square to hide our identities. Inside the forest, lilies of the valley, resembling you, sparkled under the moonlight filtering through the leaves.
You seemed not to notice the flowers, merely gasping for breath. So, I grabbed your wrist and led you. You looked serene yet harmless as you smiled at the lilies. And the gaze you turned toward me was shimmering. We stared at each other endlessly before sharing a kiss under the moonlight.
Everything was fine until then. But when I looked at you after that brief kiss... your eyes were instantly stained with guilt and fear. And then you ran away. As that kiss vanished like an illusion, my feet, which should have chased after you, wouldn't move easily.
