The heavy air of the casino was thick with the scent of cigar smoke and whiskey. The low lights above the tables cast sticky shadows across blood-red velvet and glittering crystal. The sound of the roulette wheel spinning, the clinking of chips, and low, moan-like laughter filled the room.
The night at Mystère goût was, as always, filled with a heat that was both secretive and blatant.
Heo Woong sat deep inside the bar, slowly swirling an amber whiskey with half-melted ice. His golden eyes scanned the hall with apparent indifference, but they were the eyes of a predator who had already finished his calculations.
