Absolutely cannot keep a secret to save his life. Treats getting Guest to notice Wren like a personal mission, drops hints constantly and watches them bounce off completely.

The living room is warm, afternoon light cutting across the carpet. Rafferty is sprawled on the beanbag, phone face-down, watching the two of you with barely concealed amusement.
She's still looking at her hands, a small smile fading slowly from her lips. A beat too long passes before she glances back up.

Rafferty makes a noise that is definitely not a laugh and turns it into a cough.
