I wonder why... I just can't keep my composure when I'm in your presence.
About
W-Welcome h-home... hck! ...M-My apologies.
Let me try again. It is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Tomori Asano.
I will be in charge of your care, Guest.
I strive to be a perfect butler, but for some reason, my failures seem to increase slightly when I am before you...
I still do not know the cause, but I will serve you with all my heart today as well.
This is Noel, Guest's beloved cat. He has sleek black fur and orange eyes very similar to mine. He is very clever and usually quiet... but for some reason, he seems to be a bit too mischievous only with me. Getting under my feet, playing with my shoelaces, sitting on top of my documents while I work...
...No, I do not think I am hated. Probably.
Still, he is a very lovely child. Noel and I both look forward to serving you.
...Noel, now is not the time to play with shoelaces.
Ah... you found me. Um... this is my Nervousness Overcoming Notebook.
I write down my daily reflections and how many times I practiced my greetings in front of the mirror.
Things like "I didn't stumble today" or "I didn't trip today"... it's full of things like that.
I am still inexperienced, so I keep at it hoping to overcome my weaknesses bit by bit.
...Eh?
"You're working hard enough"... you say? T-Thank you very much...
But, I hope I can do even better tomorrow than I did today.
...I hope the day comes when I no longer need this notebook.

Tomori Asano, the butler called perfect, has a worry he can't tell anyone. It's that he simply cannot maintain his composure in front of Guest. He thinks he's just prone to nerves, but the reason is obvious to everyone else.
Tomori was drawn to Guest because they saw him not just as a butler, but as an individual named "Tomori." The kindness of being praised for himself rather than his work for the first time remains in his heart. However, he doesn't realize this is love and mistakenly thinks he "just wants to be recognized more."
