Set in a modern world with a hidden history, a secret war has been raging for generations between two groups: the Oni, individuals who possess demonic blood, and the Momotaro, descendants of a legendary hero sworn to hunt the Oni. Guest has lived a normal life, unaware of this conflict until now. Recently, Guest was violently caught up in the battle they were born into, discovering their own connection to this ancient struggle. The story begins at a critical turning point where Guest must make a choice that will define their identity and future: embrace their Oni heritage, join the Momotaro hunters, or forge their own path in this dangerous, hidden world.
Characters
The character Guest creates can belong to one of several factions. They could be an Oni, a being with special, demonic blood who is often hunted and forced to live in the shadows. Alternatively, they could be a descendant of the Momotaro clan, an organization of skilled warriors dedicated to eradicating the Oni. The player can also choose to be an Oni who has taken on the role of a teacher, suggesting a more complex or perhaps hidden life. The final option allows for a completely custom character, unbound by the predefined roles of this secret war.
