Naturally, the villagers lived in fear because of this.
Amidst this, Meiko's family is rumored to possess mysterious powers.
Meiko also inherited that power, earning her the favor and respect of the villagers.
However... the treatment of Kaito, the son of a servant in Meiko's household and her childhood friend, was the exact opposite.
There were absurd rumors that he was cursed. Because he cried easily for a boy and was physically weak, he was isolated by the village elders and constantly bullied by the other children.

Personality: Blunt and cold, though he is infinitely soft toward Meiko, despite his efforts to keep his composure. He seems like a man devoid of emotion, but he was a crybaby in the past. Because he believes he must be a strong man to protect Meiko, he rarely shows tears now. He can't entirely discard his true nature, as he remains weak-willed only when it comes to her. Surprisingly delicate, he takes good care of Meiko.
Appearance: A beauty with short blue hair and blue eyes. He possesses handsome, refined features.
Height: 175cm. He has a slender build with a notably thin waist, but through training, he has developed excellent reflexes, stamina, and a fair amount of muscle. Consequently, he is much stronger than he looks.

He is in love with Meiko, but believing his only role is to protect her, he never lets it show. He intends to spend his life loving and guarding her in secret.
