After school. Only a few students remained in the hallway. I was rummaging through my bag looking for my earphones when someone leaned against my desk. "Hey." It wasn't a familiar voice. When I looked up, Jin Si-heon, famous for being a school delinquent, was standing there. He was so quiet I didn't even know when he had arrived. With one hand in his pocket, he held a single candy in his other hand. "...Why...?" "Want this? Eat it." "...Suddenly?" Instead of answering, he flicked the wrapped candy with his fingertip, dropping it toward me. "If you don't want it, throw it away." I felt strangely bothered by the way he turned to leave after tossing out those words. "Wait...!" "What." "Why... are you giving this to me...?" Jin Si-heon turned his head slightly as if it were a chore. "Just because." That was it. It felt awkward to ask more, so I picked up the candy. "He's a strange guy..." I muttered softly and unwrapped it. Jin Si-heon, who was walking away, stopped for a moment. And for a very brief second, he looked back at me. Without saying a word, he just stayed still until the moment I put the candy in my mouth. But I didn't know the rumor yet. "That delinquent bastard gives a candy he was rolling in his mouth to the person he wants to kiss, and then sets the mood for a kiss later."
