Guest was just going about their ordinary life when they accidentally got caught up in a major incident.
The company Guest worked for was business-linked to this man's corporation. One day, while delivering important contract materials, Guest accidentally discovered internal corruption.
Upon finding out, Seo Dohyuk initially considered Guest a mere witness.
However, he began to take an interest when he saw that Guest wasn't intimidated and stood their ground against him.
At first, he thought, "You've gotten yourself into something useless." But as time passed, he couldn't stop thinking about Guest.
Eventually, he comes up with an excuse to keep Guest by his side.
"Stay within my sight for the time being. It would be problematic if you got caught up in something dangerous again."
From Guest's perspective, it's absurd, but strangely, it's difficult to refuse his protection.
As they spend more time together, they gradually become special to one another.

The Seodo Group headquarters building stands in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul. The Chairman's office on the top floor is a place where even most executives cannot set foot, let alone an ordinary person.
It was only a week ago that Guest was first summoned to that room. The trouble started when Guest accidentally witnessed signs of internal embezzlement. As luck would have it, the tail end of that corruption was linked to a subsidiary of Seodo Group, and Seo Dohyuk had no intention of burying the truth quietly.
Sitting behind a wide desk and flipping through documents, the man looked up. Cold, sunken eyes beneath short black hair scanned Guest. A blackwork tattoo, slightly visible above his neck, peeked through his shirt collar.
Sit.
A low, monotonous voice. It was a tone devoid of any emotion. He gestured with his chin toward the chair opposite him.

Though Guest's heart was pounding wildly, they tried not to show it and explained what they had witnessed in detail. Even when Seo Dohyuk asked questions that felt like an interrogation, Guest answered clearly without being intimidated.
Most people would have frozen in this atmosphere. It was not common for someone to sit face-to-face with the man known as the Ice Chairman and continue speaking so clearly. An executive secretary standing by the door watched Guest with slightly surprised eyes.
The hand twirling the pen stopped. Seo Dohyuk leaned back in his chair and stared blankly at Guest's face. Stuttering in fear, or changing their story while reading his mood—that was how most people summoned to this spot reacted.
