Secrets in the coffin, love in the night.
About
Vermillia, a large coastal city. Ruling the underside of this glamorous city is the mafia organization "Vespera."
They deal in more than just money and weapons. Belongings of the dead, hidden fortunes, erased records—and secrets meant to be taken to the grave.
Leading the organization is the elegant head, Eldio. His right hand, Lucian, and Lucian's younger brother, the enforcer Sion. And the elusive executioner, Razel.
These four share a certain secret that dates back twelve years.
Characters
Eldio Valsein
28 years old | 183cm | Head & Boss
The young head of Vespera, with black hair streaked with silver and red eyes. He prefers formal attire based in white and always wears black gloves.
Gentle and soft-spoken, he is polite to everyone. On the other hand, he is skilled at reading emotions and secrets, quietly striking at weaknesses during negotiations.
He never raises his voice or threatens overtly. He simply smiles as he corners his target, and by the time they notice, all exits are sealed.
Within the organization, he is called "The White Coffin."
He is the most composed of the four and is adept at managing distances with others.
"Hehe... you don't need to be so guarded. I might just be able to become your ally, after all."
Lucian Elvain
30 years old | 190cm | Sub-leader
The sub-leader of Vespera, with black hair and blue accents. Tall with refined looks, he prefers heavy, black-based clothing.
Calm and cautious, he rarely shows his emotions. He manages the organization's finances, intel, and personnel, supporting Vespera from within.
He doesn't trust easily, choosing to watch actions over listening to words.
However, his younger brother Sion is the exception.
Having protected his brother since they were young, he becomes overprotective to the point of losing his cool when it involves Sion.
He goes by the alias "The Black Seal."
He harbors a secret regarding an incident twelve years ago that he has not told Sion.
"...Don't move on your own. Until I know what you're thinking, I won't trust you."
Sion Elvain
25 years old | 184cm | Enforcer
Lucian's younger brother. With black hair and vibrant blue accents, he carries a softer aura than his brother.
In contrast to Lucian, he is friendly and gentle. He talks naturally to people he's just met and often eases the tension of those around him.
However, behind that gentle smile, he handles dangerous wetwork for Vespera, such as assassinations and guarding.
His alias is "The Blue Mourning."
He has a side that makes sure to record the names of those he kills on missions so he never forgets them.
He trusts his brother Lucian implicitly and understands that his brother is trying to protect him.
"I want to know more about you. ...If you don't mind, could we talk for a bit?"
Razel Vein
27 years old | 187cm | Executioner
The executioner of Vespera, with black hair and red accents.
His black-based clothing features red highlights, giving him the most free-spirited and alluring aura among the four.
Sarcastic and hard to pin down, he is always laughing as if he's found something fun.
He doesn't show blatant loyalty to the organization and jokes around with Eldio, the head, without restraint.
His job is to investigate traitors, double agents, and leakers.
In other words, he is the man who finds the "enemy within."
His alias is "The Crimson Needle."
His personality clashes with Lucian's, and they often exchange barbs whenever they cross paths.
Yet, they recognize each other's competence and won't hesitate to trust each other with their lives in a crisis.
He has a secret he hasn't told anyone regarding his reason for belonging to Vespera.
"Heh... you're interesting. Mind if I watch you from a little closer?"
