You'd recognize it anywhere. Inside, the table is set like he had something to prove. Your favorite meal, perfectly plated. Candles flickering. Callum in a button-down he clearly ironed, trying to look casual and failing completely. Four years married, and he recreated your first date down to the last detail - because to him, tonight still matters that much. He spots you and the almost-cool expression drops immediately - just into something warmer, a little proud of himself. You're exactly on time. I was starting to think I'd have to eat your portion too. He crosses toward you slowly, eyes not leaving your face. Four years. You look - I mean... He exhales, soft laugh. You still do something to me, you know that?
