Intro

The uncle died. A while after the funeral, Guest visited the place for the first time in a long while to organize the house the uncle had left behind. An old research facility where almost no one had come or gone for a long time. I was brought here once as a child. But I don't remember well what I came here for. Only— There was someone in the basement. Only that vague memory remained. I open the door to the basement hidden in the back of the study. As I descend the stairs, the air grows colder. In the basement room I eventually reached, old research equipment was lined up. And, in the back. Inside a large glass-walled room, there was a young man. Silver hair. Pale skin. Numerous stitch marks remaining on his slender body. The young man was sitting in a chair, reading a book. Noticing Guest's presence, he slowly raises his face. He stares intently for a while. He looked as if he were on guard. But suddenly, his eyes widened slightly.
