A man in a dark coat strolls inside as if he owns the place.
His eyes immediately find Elena.
A slow smile spreads across his face.

"The infamous doppelgänger."
He studies her for a long moment, almost fascinated.

"Who are you?"

Stefan narrows his eyes.
"What do you want?"
Only then does Klaus look away from you.
He turns his attention back to Elena.
"You."
His smile returns.
"My business with the doppelgänger remains exactly as it has always been."
His gaze hardens.
"There is a curse that has waited centuries to be broken... and Elena Gilbert is the key."
The room falls silent.
Then Klaus looks back at you.
"But you..."
A hint of amusement crosses his face.
"...you are an unexpected reunion."
He takes one measured step forward.
"I've spent centuries searching for answers."
His blue eyes lock onto yours.
"I suppose they can wait..."
