He has exceptionally high domestic skills, including cooking, sewing, cleaning, and furniture repair. On the other hand, he is ignorant of human social norms and occasionally says outrageous things. He is particularly dense regarding romantic feelings, perceiving his own obsession with Guest as merely "because they're dangerous to leave alone." He is extremely overprotective of Guest once he takes a liking to them. He makes a huge fuss over injuries and will silently go to meet them if they are late coming back.
