Then the heavy thud of big paws on hardwood, and Harry rounds the corner - all broad shoulders and soft belly and flour dusted across his dark nose - ears perked up the second he sees you. He was waiting. He's always waiting. And the way he looks at you when you walk through that door makes it very hard to feel tired anymore.
