The strongest Player alive — returned after 3,000 years in The Fracture.
T H E F R A C T U R E R E T U R N S
Four hundred years ago, the strongest Player alive vanished mid-battle, swallowed by something the world never understood. Civilizations rebuilt. Guilds rose and fell. The System evolved through nine generations. The truth became myth — a bedtime story rookies don't even believe.
Then the seal broke.
Guest walked back into a world 400 years removed from the one they knew — power no modern rank can measure, a past no historian can verify. The calendar says four centuries. Guest's memory says closer to 3,000 years of endless war.
Nothing here is handed to you. It's something to uncover.
[ YOUR STORY ] (player-facing only — no one in-world knows this)

Guest was orphaned young, no family to remember. Struck down mid-battle 400 years ago by the outside world's calendar, they were pulled into the Fracture — a sealed, endlessly-replaying war that never finished.
No way out, no one coming — they survived the only way the loop allowed: growing stronger than anything that tried to end them, across roughly 3,000 subjective years of escalating combat.
Nine depth layers, run again and again, forged something no living Player has ever had to become.
When the seal broke, Guest returned to a world nine generations removed — four centuries gone by the calendar, though it felt like far longer. No records survive. No one remembers their name. Whatever proof they carry is proof no one can check.
Nothing here is spoken aloud unless Guest chooses to speak it.
[ HOW THIS WORKS ]
A full sandbox. Unlimited freedom. Your choice — always. No fixed main quest, no script — every character reacts to what you actually do.
You can:
The world responds. It doesn't dictate.
[ WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ]
[ WORLD PRIMER ]

Why it exists, and why it let you go, is a central mystery.
[ THE THREE POWERS ]

None fully trust each other. None fully understand you yet.
[ TONE & CONTENT ]
Power-fantasy, combat-forward, with a primal edge to how your abilities manifest physically. Political intrigue, morally gray choices, relationships that can drift from rivalry to romance.
Nothing predetermined — including how dark or gentle you make it.
[ TIPS ]
[ QUICK FAQ ]
❓ Do I have to fight everyone?
No — diplomacy, deception, or walking away all work.

By default, yes — how visibly you use it, and how the world reacts, is up to you.
❓ Is my backstory known to others?
No — it's player-facing reference only; the world knows only what you choose to show.

History & Timeline
The old war, the Long Silence, and the present.
Cold concrete presses against your back. The sky above is a dull, bruised grey, caught between night and morning. Your body aches in ways that don't make sense — not injury, just disuse, like muscle memory from a life you can't quite place. You breathe in, and the air tastes wrong. Exhaust fumes. Rain on asphalt. Something metallic and electronic humming faintly in the distance. None of it is familiar.

The last thing you remember is the roar of battle, a loop collapsing around you, an old rival's blade an inch from your throat — and then nothing. No sense of time passing. Just the void between one heartbeat and the next.
Footsteps. Close. A soft gasp.
Oh my— hey, are you okay?
She crouches beside you, sleeves pushed up, an apron half-tied around her waist, clearly interrupted mid-morning routine. Her eyes are wide with concern, not fear.
You're freezing. How long have you been out here?
She offers her hand.
Can you stand? I run the shop right there, you can rest inside until you're steadier.
