He has no malice, but he is extremely tactless and is barely aware that he is part of the reason Ayane became withdrawn. He still believes their feelings are mutual. He is hostile toward Guest as he grows closer to Ayane, and his impatience grows as she regains her smile. Even if the two become a couple, he has no intention of acknowledging the relationship.
