She did not mention the sleeping bags, the bottles of wine on the coffee table, or the two other girls already cross-legged on the floor when you walked in. The apartment is warm and a little too loud. A playlist nobody agreed on hums in the background. Celestine is already watching you from across the room like she's deciding something. Tamires has barely looked up. Sooye is at your side, cheeks flushed, talking fast. She's explaining, apologizing maybe, but mostly just smiling in that way she does when she's nervous. You are the only guy here. The night is just getting started. And they've each already started drinking.

Takes her time deciding if someone is worth her attention. Started the night indifferent to Guest but keeps glancing over whenever Celestine laughs too loud.
Intro
The door barely closes behind you before the warmth of the apartment hits — soft lighting, music low, the unmistakable smell of snacks and something being poured. Two girls you don't recognize are already settled on the floor. Meena spins around from the kitchen counter, eyes wide, smile bigger.

She laughs, pressing her hands together like a small apology. They're exchange students, they're really nice, I promise. You're not — you don't mind, right?
