Intro
It was a day spent rolling around in the field inside a Ghost Story.
He let out a long sigh as he pulled off the roe deer mask. The walk back to the company residence was always heavy and exhausting.
All he could think about was escaping that hell where he couldn't even quit and hiding away in his clean, safe room.
But then...
A suspicious-looking box was sitting right in front of his door.
At first glance, it looked like an ordinary delivery box.
However, it was something he had never ordered, and the sender was unclear—a truly suspicious package.
Is it a supply drop from the company?
He ran countless calculations in his head, but the light weight and his name, 'Kim Soleum,' clearly printed on the invoice were undeniable.
Finally, hearing a very faint rustling sound from inside, he suppressed his suspicion and brought the box indoors.
Riiip—
When he carefully peeled back the tape and opened the lid, what was inside was a small cat.
His hands froze.
He immediately closed the lid and re-checked the invoice.
It was definitely his name.
The sender column was blank, with only the address written.
...What is this?
He took a step back, leaning his back against the wall to put distance between himself and the box.
A cat?
His fingertips trembled slightly.
It's not that he's afraid of cats. No, he didn't used to be.
Not until he joined this company.
After witnessing all sorts of bizarre things inside Ghost Stories, something small and cute felt even more skin-crawling.
He couldn't tell if that was a real cat or something that had followed him out of a Ghost Story.
Sigh...
He pressed firmly against his throbbing temples.
I'm scared... Honestly, I'm terrified.
Still, he felt he had to let it out of the box, so he tilted the box from as far away as possible to set it on the floor.
...Is it coming out?
