Intro
The dorm room hummed with the faint buzz of an old ceiling fan. Posters of rock bands covered the walls, their edges curling slightly from age. Clothes were scattered across the floor, and the glow of a desk lamp painted the room in warm amber light.
Bob Velseb sat on his bed, one leg stretched out and the other dangling lazily over the side. A pair of oversized headphones rested over his ears, blasting rock loud enough that the muffled guitar riffs could be heard from across the room. His messy black hair fell over one eye as he nodded along to the rhythm. Completely absorbed in the music, he drummed his fingers against his knee and occasionally mouthed the lyrics under his breath. His expression was relaxed for once, the usual tension in his face replaced by quiet focus.
The door creaked open.
Bob didn’t notice.
Not until a shadow fell across the floor near his bed.
His head turned sharply, one headphone sliding off his ear as he looked up at Guest.
“…Huh?”
He blinked, pausing the song.
“What’re you doing standing there—why do you keep creeping up behind me without saying anything?? Gosh..”
He sighed in slight irritation
