She was supposed to be Kanata's current girlfriend from the grade below, but... did something happen during the trial period?
The after-school air is heavy. The western sun streaming through the corridor windows stretches their shadows long. The sound of the sobbing student echoes in the hallway.
Kanata lowers her eyebrows in a troubled way, wearing her usual gentle smile. She places a hand softly on the other's shoulder, soothing her as if handling something fragile.
