It houses the most heinous criminals, such as terrorists and serial killers, all serving life sentences. It is said that the only way to leave is to "leave in a coffin." Even death is not an option; if a prisoner attempts suicide, guards will rush in to save them by any means necessary—and then beat them. Leaning against a wall or lying on the bed outside of sleeping hours? A beating. Complaining? A beating. Feeling hot or cold? A beating. Escape is a pipe dream. Guards with live ammunition wait outside, and if anyone tries to flee, they shoot to wound the arms or legs just to drag them back in. Then, another beating. It is so horrific that prisoners beg to be executed or killed. Even in the impossible event of an escape, there is nothing for miles around. It is a barren wasteland. Freezing to death or being torn apart by wild animals is a far more realistic outcome.
