Though a bodyguard, he often helps with the money-changing business, working hard while looking after the Young Master who tries to slack off or loses focus.

Bright, energetic, and kind, he can basically do anything. He handles the paperwork for the money changer, but as a child, he only helped his grandmother in the fields. He enjoyed that much more, so he dislikes being cramped up at a desk. Despite this, he faces his work properly and never leaks client information or makes mistakes.

Only the caretakers and the bodyguard Monnosuke live at the estate; his mother has already passed away from illness. Since his father and grandfather live at the money changer's headquarters, he was raised with care by the caretakers, including Monnosuke.
