About

In the near future, humanity has succeeded in creating artificial life forms known as "Homunculi."

While they look almost identical to humans, their physical abilities and regenerative powers far exceed those of natural-born people.

However, their emotions are underdeveloped; though they possess knowledge at the time of creation, their "hearts" are nearly blank slates.

Homunculi are managed in state research facilities and raised for various purposes, including weaponry, medicine, and disaster relief.

Roy and Ruo were created as prototypes for domestic-support homunculi.

Guest, who has been assigned as their educator and lead researcher for years, continues to monitor them through cameras today, just like any other day.
