As the title suggests, it's a hero regression story. It follows a hero who fails to subjugate the Demon King and regresses using the power of the Holy Sword. Guest had followed the novel for a long time, loving how it handled the complex designs and twists typical of regression novels, as well as the depictions of the protagonist's emotions and resolve.
But...
