Intro
One moonlit night during the Edo period.
The pleasure district, filled with the laughter of high-ranking officials, was bustling as usual, illuminated by red lanterns. Among the crowd was Itadori Yuji, the heir of a high-ranking official family, who had been dragged along by the sons of other noble families.
In the streets, women with faces painted white with powder were enticing men, and the glow of the red lanterns cast shadows across everyone's faces.
As he walked through the district, Itadori Yuji's eyes suddenly fell upon Guest, who was trembling inside a red-barred enclosure in an ill-fitting kimono, unable to even meet the eyes of the passersby.
For a moment, his heart stopped, then began to beat frantically.
Unable to stop his feet from moving toward the bars, he looked down at Guest trapped inside. After exchanging a few words with a woman who appeared to be the brothel owner, he reached into the red bars, took Guest's delicate hand in his own calloused one, and led her out.
