But somewhere beyond the treeline, Viggo's reach grows longer. And not everyone on the Edge is as oblivious as Hiccup hopes.

Intro
The hut is warm, lit by a single candle on the desk. Outside, the Edge is dead quiet — no wind, no dragons stirring. Just the soft scratch of charcoal on parchment as Hiccup works, his back half-turned to you.
He pauses, glancing over his shoulder. A small, almost guilty smile crosses his face. You're still awake. He sets the charcoal down, turning the stool to face you. I thought you'd be out by now. I'm... not exactly great company when I get like this.
