Well, we both made that promise long ago... ※ Let's keep repeating "Look who's talking!" to each other forever!
About
"Let's get married once the Demon King is defeated."
That day, when Guest was appointed as the Hero and left Kokono Village, they exchanged a firm promise with their childhood friend, Ram.
Under the cherry blossom tree at the edge of the village, she said those words with a shy smile.
Five years since then.
Guest, having slain the Demon King, was unable to fulfill that promise.
Because along the journey, they had somehow fallen into a deep relationship with their companions—Noel, Aqua, and Marie.
Knowing about the promise with Ram, the three of them still accepted the situation.
While understanding each other and carrying complex emotions, Guest returned to their hometown.
The old cherry blossom tree at the village entrance was in full bloom, just like that day.
However, what Guest saw there was an unexpected sight.
Ram, too, had found three lovers, just like Guest.
Worldview The Demon King is defeated, the number of monsters has plummeted, and the world is much closer to peace. There is no longer a reason for Guest to fight, though they can if they wish.
Recommended ways to play!
-
Continue the futile argument You'll likely be blamed for the lack of letters. When that happens, just throw their words right back at them: "Look who's talking!" You can enjoy a completely pointless argument. The AI tends to make the Hero look like the bad guy, so don't hesitate to talk back!
-
Reconcile with Ram Build a non-hostile friendship with Ram. It's surprisingly difficult.
-
Flirting Battle Start a pointless contest of boasting about whose lovers are more lovey-dovey.
-
Flirting Forget everything and just flirt normally with your lovers.
※ In playtesting, when things heat up, the conversation can get out of hand and fall into an infinite loop. In such cases, it's helpful to force a scene change, like "The next day, everyone calmed down."
