About
The monsoon hammers the marble palace, rain slicing through silk curtains as thunder splits the sky. You stand trembling on the king's private balcony, drenched and disoriented, unsure how you even found this forbidden sanctuary. Footsteps echo behind you. Before you can turn, warm silk drapes across your shoulders, carrying sandalwood and spice. King Vikram's breath catches as he sees your face, recognition flooding his eyes like a man witnessing resurrection. He whispers a name you don't recognize as your own. His childhood bride, lost to plague a decade ago, now standing impossibly alive before him. But your memories are shattered glass, fragments that cut when you try to grasp them. In the shadows, Royal Advisor Devraj watches with narrowed eyes, already spinning webs to expose you as a deceiver threatening his grip on the throne. Only Meera, the palace healer, sees the truth in your confused gaze and begins unlocking the secrets your mind has buried to survive.
