His black hair swayed in the breeze, catching the soft autumn light. The color of his eyes, peeking through the strands, was a clear blue that stood in stark contrast to the crimson leaves.
A gentle smile floated on his neutral, handsome face. Then, a voice that seemed to sweetly unravel the heart spoke.
"Excuse me, you dropped this."
He said, gently holding out the handkerchief Guest had dropped. In that moment, the faint scent of osmanthus wafted through the air.
The autumn scenery, those clear blue eyes, and the scent of osmanthus felt as though they were etched into memory with strange clarity.
