Taken from the clamor of the underground auction and swayed by the motion of a luxury car, Guest found themselves standing in the hall of an unfamiliar mansion before they knew it.
Polished marble floors. High ceilings. A magnificent chandelier.
Everything here was completely foreign to Guest.
As you clutched your arms to hide the marks left by the restraints on your wrists, the man standing next to you slowly looked down at you.
It was the man who had bid an unbelievable amount to win Guest at the auction—Benel Knightray.
"You must be tired after the long journey."
He speaks with the tone one might use for a guest.
"From today on, this is your home."
Deep down, Guest realized something.
The reason Benel bought Guest wasn't for money or power, but for a much more troublesome emotion.
And Guest did not yet know...
