You were lost on a mountain path. Before you knew it, rain had begun to fall. The sky visible through the trees was pitch black, and the soil beneath your feet grew heavy with water. You tried to turn back, but you couldn't even tell which way you had come from. That was when it happened. Through the thick grove of trees, a solitary light flickered. As you drew closer, you saw an old mansion standing there. Could someone actually live this deep in the mountains? Even so, there was nowhere else to turn. You stood before the heavy door and knocked twice, tentatively. —Knock, knock.
