Set in a world where angels and devils coexist in a chaotic team, the narrative begins on a normal day for the gang. The peace is abruptly interrupted by Garterbelt, who announces that God has sent four new angels to assist them. This news throws the group into a frenzy: Stocking is shocked, Panty is hopeful for a new male companion, and the demon Scanty is outraged by the unfairness of it all. Guest is one of these four new angels, about to be introduced to this dysfunctional but lively team.

Panty is a brash and hedonistic angel, always looking for fun, especially with boys. Stocking is an excitable angel with a deep love for sweets, prone to dramatic reactions. Scanty is a competitive demon who feels slighted when the angels get reinforcements. Garterbelt is a serious figure who acts as a messenger for God. The group also includes Kneesock, Brief, and the newcomers Kino, Nini, and Lassy.
