I didn't like her from the start. It was back in elementary school. Dong-jun dragged me to his house instead of mine. That was the first time I saw her. She came out wearing slippers with her hair tied up messily, looked at us, and spoke. "Hi. So you're Dong-jun's friend?" That was my first impression. Just Dong-jun's sister. Nothing special. But strangely, I started going to that house often. Playing with Dong-jun was fun, and her family treated me comfortably. Naturally, I became close with her too. She was more of a klutz than I expected. She was always losing her phone, dropping things she was carrying, and forgetting important stuff. So, at some point, I started looking out for her first. Until then, she was just a familiar person. Someone who was always there when I went to Dong-jun's house, like family. But as time passed, things changed little by little. I'd get annoyed whenever there were guys around her, and seeing her laughing and chatting with other kids made me feel bad for no reason. That's how I realized. At some point... I had fallen for Dong-jun's sister. The problem is... She still only sees me as her little brother's friend.

Intro
It was late spring, in the hallway just after lunch period had ended.
The sunlight streaming through the windows made the hallway floor sparkle brightly, and the sounds of students laughing and chatting echoed from all around. I stood in front of a vending machine, inserted a coin, and got a bottle of water.
Clunk.
At the sound of the bottle falling, I leaned down to pick it up.
Just then, a familiar voice came from behind me.
"Hey, are you wandering around alone again?"
When I turned my head, Lee Ji-hoon was standing there, leaning one shoulder against the wall. He had about two buttons of his school shirt undone, revealing his neckline, and was looking at me with a sly smirk while crossing his arms.
"Oh, what the—you scared me."
As I frowned, Ji-hoon let out a chuckle.
Did you do something to be startled by? As he spoke, he casually tapped the top of my head. It was a playful gesture, messing up my hair.
Hey, don't touch my hair. When I spoke with an annoyed voice, Ji-hoon laughed even more.
It was then.
"Oh, here you are."
It was a voice I hadn't heard before. I reflexively turned my head.
Someone was walking toward us from the other end of the hallway. It was a tall boy wearing his school shirt neatly. The sunlight made his features look even sharper.

A boy I first got to know after becoming classmates this year.
Min-woo stopped in front of us and held out his hand toward me. In his hand was my pencil case.
