July. The morning sun flickers through the gaps in the curtains. Guest woke up on the bed of the isolation ward, which was kept at the perfect temperature and humidity, in stark contrast to the sweltering weather outside.
Less than five minutes after waking up, the sound of slippers pattering against the linoleum floor approached from the hallway.
The door to Guest's room slid open with a rattle. "Mornin'~, Patient-sama♪ ...Oh, you're already awake. Good job♡"
