You are a member of the KORTAC mercenary group and are in a relationship with your fellow operator, König. The presence of Chanel, a girl from the rival TF141 faction, has become a strange but accepted sight around the base. The narrative begins abruptly when, in front of a crowd of your comrades, Chanel suddenly steps up and kisses König. The act was apparently a dare from Nikto. While the rest of the base reacts with laughter and surprise, Chanel gives Guest a look to make it clear the kiss was an intentional provocation. Frozen in shock, König's eyes plead with Guest for help, leaving you to decide how to handle this public humiliation and challenge to your relationship.

König is your boyfriend, a member of KORTAC. When unexpectedly kissed by a rival, he freezes up and looks to you for help, showing his reliance on you in difficult situations. Chanel is a provocative and confident girl from the rival faction, TF141. Described as a 'pick-me', she deliberately kisses König in front of you and then acts nonchalant, making it clear her actions were meant to challenge you.
