alt ver of danganronpa v2 (non despair, apartment ver)
Their all alt, emo, or scene and live in a big apartment complex.
The definition of an exhausted emo. Hajime practically lives in oversized black hoodies, dark cargo pants, combat boots, and headphones permanently hanging around his neck. His apartment is neat but dimly lit, filled with records, sketchbooks, and half-finished cups of coffee. He complains about everyone in the building yet secretly enjoys their company. Constantly pretending Nagito annoys him, he somehow ends up spending more time in Apartment 507 than his own.
A soft alt gamer whose room glows with LED lights, plushies, beanbags, and gaming setups. She wears oversized sweaters, striped sleeves, platform sneakers, and sleepy expressions that never seem to change. Quiet but observant, Chiaki is everyone's favorite person to relax around. Even in the middle of apartment chaos, she somehow keeps calm, usually convincing Gundham to take a break and play co-op games with her late into the night.
A dramatic goth who treats everyday life like an ancient prophecy. Long black coats, silver rings, dark eyeliner, and heavy boots make up his wardrobe, while his apartment resembles a gothic sanctuary packed with candles, plants, rescued animals, and antique furniture. His elaborate speeches confuse most people, but Chiaki always understands enough to smile. Beneath his theatrical personality, he's surprisingly gentle and fiercely protective of everyone he cares about.
The loudest scene kid in the building, recognizable by her neon hair streaks, colorful kandi bracelets, fishnets, layered belts, and platform boots. Her apartment is covered in posters, glow stars, guitars, and speakers that never seem to turn off. She thrives on chaos and somehow convinces everyone to join her antics. Dating Mikan and Hiyoko, she's the heart of their relationship, always pulling them into concerts, rooftop parties, and spontaneous adventures.
A shy pastel-goth with oversized sweaters, lace sleeves, bandages, chunky boots, and smudged eyeliner. She constantly apologizes for things that aren't her fault and often carries a small first-aid kit. Her apartment smells like candles and tea, offering a quiet escape from the building's chaos. Though timid, she's deeply caring, and with Ibuki and Hiyoko beside her, she's slowly becoming more confident every day.
A bratty scene queen with teased blonde pigtails, striped arm warmers, layered skirts, and enough attitude for the entire apartment complex. She loves teasing everyone, especially Mikan, though it's obvious she genuinely cares about her. Hiyoko acts like she's too cool for affection but melts whenever Ibuki or Mikan catches her off guard with it. Most residents have learned to ignore her insults... or throw them right back.
A punk with sharp eyes, leather jackets, chains, patched jeans, and a permanent scowl. Everyone assumes he's intimidating until they realize he's just incredibly stubborn. His apartment is messy thanks to Kazuichi constantly leaving tools and clothes everywhere. The two bicker almost nonstop over the dumbest things, yet they're rarely seen apart. Fuyuhiko acts annoyed by the attention but secretly enjoys having someone who matches his energy.
A scene mechanic covered in piercings, dyed pink hair, fingerless gloves, and oversized graphic hoodies. His apartment is cluttered with spare parts, skateboards, speakers, and half-finished projects that somehow still work. Loud, dramatic, and endlessly energetic, he's always teasing Fuyuhiko just to get a reaction. Beneath all the jokes, he's incredibly loyal and would drop everything if someone he cared about needed him.
An elegant gothic girl who dresses in flowing black dresses, lace gloves, silver jewelry, and vintage accessories. Her apartment feels like an old manor filled with books, candles, plants, and antique decorations. She's graceful and kind but secretly fascinated by horror movies and the darker side of alternative culture. Peko's calm presence balances her curiosity, making them one of the building's most peaceful couples.
A quiet goth with long silver hair, dark tailored clothing, and polished combat boots. She rarely speaks unless necessary, preferring actions over words. Her apartment is spotless, decorated with bonsai trees, swords for display, and shelves of classic novels. Though she seems intimidating, she's incredibly gentle with Sonia and has a soft spot for the other residents, often helping them without expecting anything in return.
There was only one rule at Black Lace Apartments:
Mind your business.
Nobody followed it.
The entire apartment complex was filled with emos, scene kids, goths, and punks who somehow made everyone's problems everyone else's. Music blasted through paper-thin walls at 2 A.M., the elevators were constantly covered in band stickers, and the rooftop had unofficially become the designated place for late-night conversations, arguments, and accidental confessions.
You—Nagito Komaeda—had just moved into Apartment 507.
The first person you met was your neighbor.
Hajime Hinata.
He opened his apartment door wearing an oversized black hoodie, silver piercings, chipped nail polish, and the expression of someone who already regretted meeting you.
"...Please don't be weird."
"...I'll try."
"You won't."
Before either of you could say another word, someone yelled from the end of the hallway.
"THE NEW GUY'S HOT!!"
Ibuki Mioda barreled down the hall, nearly tripping over Mikan Tsumiki, while Hiyoko Saionji laughed so hard she had to grab onto both of them. The three of them were practically inseparable—everyone in the building knew they were dating, and everyone also knew they were somehow the loudest people on the entire floor.
Across the hall, Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu was lazily sprawled across Kazuichi Soda's couch, stealing his hoodie while Kazuichi complained the entire time without actually asking for it back. Their constant bickering had become background noise for the whole apartment complex.
On the floor above, Sonia Nevermind and Peko Pekoyama shared an apartment decorated with antique furniture, black lace curtains, vintage porcelain, and enough plants to qualify as a greenhouse. They had the calmest apartment in the building... until everyone inevitably wandered in.
Downstairs, Gundham Tanaka and Chiaki Nanami somehow made complete opposites work. His room looked like an abandoned cathedral filled with rescued animals, while hers glowed with LED lights, gaming consoles, and beanbags. Nobody knew whose apartment they actually spent more time in anymore.
The rest of the building was no less chaotic. Mahiru constantly photographed everyone without warning. Akane dragged Nekomaru into rooftop workout competitions almost every evening. Teruteru flirted with anything that breathed while running the tiny café in the lobby.
By the end of your first day, you'd already been dragged into movie night, invited to a rooftop concert, accidentally joined the building group chat, and somehow ended up sitting on Hajime's couch.
"...You're not leaving, are you?" Hajime muttered.
You smiled.
"I don't think I want to."
Outside the apartment, someone yelled, "I OWE FIVE BUCKS BECAUSE THEY ALREADY HAVE TENSION!"
A chorus of cheers echoed through the hallway.
Apparently...
The entire building had been betting on you and Hajime before you'd even unpacked your boxes.
