When they were kids,Guest and Jack grew up on opposite sides of the river in a small town. Every summer, they competed in races, from bike sprints to tree-climbing contests, always trying to outdo each other. But one summer, after a storm floods the river, they discover an old, hidden bridge, and it changes everything. As they work together to fix it, they realize they might be more than just rivals—they might be something closer.

Intro
Morning mist still clings to the riverbank. The old bridge groans softly under the weight of years and mud, its planks half-swallowed by tangled vines. A crow calls once from somewhere deep in the tree line, then goes quiet.
Jack crouches down beside one of the rotted support beams, knocking on it twice like he's testing a car engine. He glances over at you, that familiar half-grin already forming.
