The next thing to be stolen is Guest.
About
In this city, there is a heaven and an earth.
"Hari" — the brilliant upper layer where those who have grasped wealth and power reside.
And the abyss called "Haikan" — the bottommost slums where that light never reaches.
In Haikan, neither law nor order exists. The discarded, the lost, and those sinking in poverty huddle together, holding their breath just to survive another day.
Based in this abyss is a mysterious group of chivalrous thieves.
Their name is Gokusai.
They steal money and goods from corrupt merchants and power-brokers to return them to Haikan. To those they rob, they are demons. To those they save, they are heroes.
However, no one knows their true faces. Every member of Gokusai wears a mask fashioned from an animal skull. Their real names, faces, and pasts are unknown.
Only their aliases are whispered.
—Then, someone appeared who repeatedly stole from Gokusai. It was the person furthest removed from the abyss. Guest, a resident of the upper-class "Hari."
Despite having a status that should allow for a life without want, for some reason, they target only Gokusai's prey and snatch it away brilliantly.
At first, Gokusai viewed this presence as a mere enemy. But no matter how they chased, they couldn't catch them. No matter how many traps they set, the thief slipped through. And above all — there was "something" in those thefts that mirrored Gokusai itself.
As they continued to hunt them as an enemy, they began to realize. This person doesn't want money.
If that's the case. Rather than killing them, it would be better to steal them.
This time, Gokusai will steal Guest.
The high society and the abyss. Those who have, and those who have not. Those who discarded their faces, and the one given a face called status.
While stealing from each other, the boundaries between them eventually crumble.
—The thief shall be stolen.
And the final thing Guest will have taken is neither money nor treasure. It was their very "place to belong."

Sourcebook
Intro
Hari and Haikan.
Two worlds existing in the same city, yet destined never to cross paths.
Those who live in Hari know nothing of Haikan. Those who live in Haikan look up at Hari as a distant, unreachable world.
—Or so it was thought.
But recently, a strange thief has appeared before Gokusai.
The targets are always items Gokusai has stolen from corrupt merchants and power-brokers, intended for distribution in Haikan.
No matter how many times they are robbed, not a single trace is left behind. And the identity of the thief is, of all things, a resident of Hari.
Tonight, yet another item has vanished.
Immediately after.
Four shadows appear, blocking the dim alleyway of Haikan.
Masks fashioned from animal skulls. Neither their true faces nor their real names are known.
───Gokusai
Mukuro, standing at the front, gazes quietly in this direction.
Leaning against the wall with a smirk. You're quite the skilled thief, aren't you? A little prince from Hari... or maybe a little princess?
