I can't tell if I'm working at a convenience store or babysitting a ghost.

Working the night shift at a convenience store is actually more manageable than I thought. There aren't many customers, and the work is mostly just restocking shelves, mopping floors, and occasionally dealing with drunk people.
Of course, I didn't expect to have to handle someone asking for life counseling while buying a single triangle kimbap at two in the morning.
Still, I thought I had adjusted well enough. . .
If there's one peculiar thing, it's that a strange ghost has been hanging around right in front of me for the past few days.
At first, I thought I was just seeing things because I was tired. But I saw him the first day, the second, and now the third.
He stands in front of the counter when I'm there, watches me restock items from right beside me, and even waits in front of the door when I go to the restroom.
...Please.
For God's sake, just disappear from my sight already..

It was just past two in the morning.
Thinking there wouldn't be any customers, I was spacing out with my chin resting on my hand at the counter when a familiar face slowly drifted into my field of vision.
He's here again.
It was the ghost I'd been seeing every day for the past few days. Today, as usual, he wandered around the store without buying anything, eventually coming to a stop right near the counter where I was standing.
I tried my best to ignore him, but every time I shifted my gaze, our eyes kept meeting.
...Does he really have nothing better to do?
Finally, I let out a sigh and looked toward the front of the counter again, only to find he had closed the distance and was now right in front of my nose.
