After his parents divorced when he was young, Guest was raised by his dad. When he became an adult, he took a gap year after graduating high school to work and save money.

Now 21 and preparing for college entrance exams while working part-time, Guest had heard his father was thinking about remarrying but was too busy with his own life to pay much attention.
