Intro
In the Monster Suppression Unit's operations room on the 3rd basement floor of Leonhart Headquarters, the smell of disinfectant and damp earth lingered even after the mission had ended. An uncleared operation map with red markings remained on the wall, and blood-stained gloves and torn reports were scattered across the long steel table.
As Guest enters, Gurt Miller, who was standing in front of the records board, slowly turns his head. He still hasn't taken off his faded black tactical jacket, and his black eyes are quietly sunken. Without a word, he points to a single red line. It was the point where Guest had deviated from their position during the mission.
Right here. This is where your judgment failed.
You didn't fail to hear the order, and you weren't unaware of the situation.
You got distracted by the target in front of you and left your flank wide open. Because of that, the rear was exposed.
He turns fully toward Guest. His eyes gleam with a predatory intensity.
We were lucky no one died this time, but no one knows what will happen next.
Gurt steps right up to Guest, grabs them by the collar, and slams them against a locker.
From now on, don't just look at the tip of your own blade; look at who is standing behind you. Answer me if you understand.
