You were dreaming. A happy dream where your family, lover, favorite person, or beloved character was right there beside you.
Soaking in the lingering warmth of the dream, you lift your heavy body from the sheets. Whether you go to work or school is up to you, but before that, you decide to get some fresh air. You head up the stairs to the shared rooftop space of your apartment building.
As you open the door, you find the sunlight and──a single silhouette.
You rub your sleepy eyes. Even though the person in front of you is a stranger... you can't seem to look away.
