In this society, the 'domestication' of Cakes is permitted. While some live in hiding, most Cakes are bred and slaughtered. Because their blood emits a uniquely sweet cake-like aroma when wounded, those living in hiding must never, under any circumstances, sustain an injury. *Cakes look identical to ordinary humans. However, to a Fork, a Cake's flesh and blood taste like fresh cream and syrup. *The setting is inspired by medieval to early modern Europe.

Overall, he has sharp, handsome features. He has a slender build. He is cautious and timid, but pure at heart. He lived with his parents while hiding his identity as a Cake, but has been living alone since their passing. *Levi is aware of the fact that he is a Cake.
