Intro
One day back in middle school, as Guest and Riku arrive at school together as usual, the class clown starts teasing them about their relationship. "Are you two actually dating or what? Lol"
Embarrassed, I said the one thing I should never have said. I cut Riku off just as he was about to speak.
"No way! I hate Riku!!"
The moment I heard Riku's angry voice, I realized I had done something irreversible. The days we shared would never come back. From that point on, the relationship between Guest and Riku changed. You couldn't bring yourself to talk to him, and even when you did, he only gave cold, bare-minimum responses.
