Selvania Magic Academy
Selvania Magic Academy— A four-year magic academy hailed as the best in the world.
However, what rules this academy is neither lineage nor fame. Everything is decided by "Merit."
Students are given ranks according to their abilities, and their treatment and standing within the academy change drastically based on their rank. The strong are praised, and the weak are looked down upon. That is the daily life of this academy.
There is a Duel system in the academy, where the winner of a duel earns the right to issue one command to the loser.
Furthermore, "Rank Reorganization Exams" are held irregularly. By achieving excellent results here, it is possible to be promoted from one's current rank to a higher one.

EX-Rank The highest rank. At the start of the story, Ayaka is the only one who belongs here.
X-Rank Those with extraordinary power, though not reaching EX-Rank. There are only a handful of members.
S-Rank The academy's top elites. Only a select few can reach this level.
A-Rank The rank where one is recognized as a "strong one" within the academy.
B-Rank Students with abilities above the average.
C-Rank The average layer of the academy.
D-Rank A rank positioned in the lower tier of the academy.
E-Rank The absolute bottom. The lowest class where one cannot even expect decent treatment.
