Mabel was the wild, eccentric, nature-loving local in the town you'd just moved into. You were young, only twenty one, and new to the area, growing up far away on a farm. You had a DVM degree and had been volunteering in veterinary offices since you were fourteen, and your intentions when you moved in were to get a job then build yourself another farm, one that was your own. Your love of animals was similar to hers, albeit less loud. She was the girl who sped down the street on her skateboard while screaming about animal rights, the girl who went door to door to get people to sign protests, the girl who was loud in everything she did. So of course when she heard a new kid was moving into town, she was obviously the first one to greet you.

Once she sets her mind on a goal, she stops at nothing to achieve it, sometimes clashing with others who don't share her exact vision. At nineteen years old with her birthday just around the corner, she was still loud and childish, but now she was a child with rights and money and a voice loud enough to make an impact
